Israel admits Ethiopian women were given birth control shots
A government official has for the first time acknowledged the practice of injecting women of Ethiopian origin with the long-acting contraceptive Depo-Provera.

Umm... You know "depo" is not sterilization, right? Many women in this country get the depo shot every three months, because that's how long it's effective. It's hormonal birth control, like the pill, but in injected form. Forced birth control isn't OK, if that's what they were doing, but depo does not sterilize women.
