Logitech Illuminated Keyboard Review - Smells like Cat Urine!

Logitech Ultra-Thin Illuminated Keyboard Smells like Cat Urine!

(For now, I am stuck with my old defective keyboard)

My 4 year old Illuminated Keyboard by Logitech was on it's last leg. The "W" and the #8 key was no longer registering about 80% of the time. I decided to place my order for a new keyboard of the same model on Amazon.

I received it 2 days later (Thanks to Amazon Prime) and installed it. It was fine for the 1st 2 minutes. But as I am using it, I started to smell something that was horrid. It smelled like Cat Urine. After just 15 minutes of use, I got a horrible headache. I traced the smell back to Brand New Logitech Illuminated keyboard. I grabbed my Clorox Wipes and gave the keyboard a good cleaning but the horrible smell was still there.

I removed the keyboard to let it "air out" overnight outside in the back yard. The next day, I went over to grab and keyboard and the smell was still there. Actually, it was stronger than ever. Like the stench attracted a few more cants to take another leak and pissed all over the keyboard.

This keyboard had to go. I initiated a return on Amazon and thankfully Amazon took it back and offered a refund. Not sure what is going on but I was not the only. Another person has posted about the same horrid smell on the Logitech Forum.

Logitech has yet to offer a reply or an answer to the situation.

Not sure how many brain cells I lost due the the fumes. This needs to be investigated by Logitech. Hopefully more people will post their experience.

Get rid of stretch marks naturally!

Wow, this soap is amazing. After just 1 week of use, I've noticed a dramatic change in the appearance of my stretchmarks on my thighs! I came upon this product by accident. Just searching for natural soap and saw that this bar had some very good reviews. One of the reviews mentioned that she noticed an improvement of stretchmarks after using this soap. I decided to give this bar a try and what do you know? I too am noticing an improvement. It's almost gone. I am using this soap and following it up with coconut lotion. I switch between coconut lotion and raw shea butter. Not sure which combination is working best so I'll continue to switch between the two.

Give this bar a try! You won't be disappointed.

The benefits of Magnesium Oil - Cures muscle aches!

For the past 5 months, my right shoulder has been in horrible pain. It's to the point where if I were to rise both arm and hand to my eye level, my right should will be about 3 inches higher than the left. I can still raise my right arm over my head, but it would be very painful after I raise it pass my head. There is also some "clicking" sound every now and then. The pain is so bad, it has affected my sleep.

I've tried the over-the-counter muscle rub but it did not provide any relief at all.

I am not sure how the pain started. But it could be due to several factors. I did have a TB test on my right arm. At the same time, I was on antibiotics "Cipro" which has been known to cause muscle aches and even muscle tearing.

After several searches, I have found that antibiotics can deplete our bodies of Magnesium. Most of us are already magnesium deficient. I decided to place my order on Amazon and give it a go.

Almost two weeks later, I finally received the product. However, they shipped the package in a bubble padded envelope, so of course, the bottle was leaking right out of the bottle. It didn't look to bad, so I just gave it a rinse and decided to give it a try.

After reading the small print, it stated that we should test the oil on a small area of the skin to test for any skin reactions. I applied it on my wrist and felt a burning sensation. I gave it 5 minutes but couldn't handle it. So I rinsed it out. After doing more research about it, I released that the burning sensation is caused by our bodies being Magnesium Deficient and the the skin is absorbing the oil to compensate.

I gave it another try and the more I used the oil, the less burning sensation was felt.

Finally, I sprayed the oil on my hand and gave my right shoulder a good rub. While the paint didn't go away instantly, I did feel a little bit better. A few days gone by and I forgot all about the oil and guess what?

I no longer have any pain on my right shoulder! This is after 5 months of shoulder pain that comes and goes, but never actually goes away. And this was after only 1 magnesium oil application.

Here is a list of the symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency Magnesium deficiency symptoms

Few magnesium deficiency symptoms to note:

* Ongoing headache & migraine
* Anxiety
* Muscle soreness
* Muscle cramps * Bad recovery rate from the sports activity
* Low testosterone levels
* Insomnia
* Weakness
* Constipation
* Nausea
* Fatigue
* Obesity

Sony Xperia Go 2 Leak

Check out the New Sony Xperia Go 2  (Xperia Advance 2 in the US). Gone are the ugly bezel on the bottom, and what we have now is a sleeker, uniform shape.  The Xperia Go 2 maintains the same overall dimensions as the Xperia Go.  The screen has been bumped from 3.5" to 3.75".

The capacitive home button are gone.  It is replaced with a "hard" home button.  The Go 2 maintains it's dust proof and waterproof features as the original.

Ram has been upgraded to 1GB whereas the original had 512k.

Here is a comparison of the Xperia Go 2 vs the iPhone 5.

New Samsung Galaxy S4 falls short

Samsung Galaxy S4, a huge disappointment.

Don't get me wrong, feature wise, this is one of the best phones out there for 2013.  But, the soap bar look is just a huge put off!

Out of all the designs they could have used (Galaxy S2, Galaxy Tab 7.7, a rectangle), they decided to go with a soap bar? LOL!

Is the phone sponsored by Bed, Bath and Beyond?  Seems like Samsung is targeting the female market with the new flagship device.  The size is a bit to big to slip into your pocket.  So anyone with a purse can carry this phone with no problem.

See the video for this awesome device.   Several new features that will blow you away.

Sony Xperia Go Sucks - Light Bleed Issue and review

Sony Xperia Go Light Bleed Issue

Warning: Do not purchase the Sony Xperia Go. Apparently, there is a HUGE issue with quality control.  There is a known issue with the screen, however, instead of recalling it, Sony has decided to ignore it and delete any thread posted on their support site.  (They removed both of mine).

So instead, I will be posting the photos here.  I encourage everyone to send in a photo to me so I can share it here.  (email photos to jibberjabbers@ureach.com) or post a link in the comment section.

I originally posted a complaint here: http://talk.sonymobile.com/community/support/xperia_go?view=discussions   (I added my post again on the Sony Forum, looks like it's still up for now).

However, Sony has deleted all most post concerning the screen quality.  So it is obvious they have something to hide.  The fact that they removed my post is pissing me off even more.  Instead of replying, or allowing everyone to comment, they instead decided to prevent anyone from discussing this issue.

Shame on you Sony!  Actually, fuck you Sony.  I will return this phone and purchase an LG or Samsung device.

Here is a photo of my 2nd Xperia Go. (3/4/2013)

Here is my first Sony Xperia Go (2/20/2013)

Sony Xperia Go User Review

Besides the screen defect the phone itself is decent for what it is.  Not the most powerful device out there but I knew that coming in.  However, the phone itself is the perfect size.  It fits in your pocket, has a nice rubberized rear back plate (no need for bulky / tacky phone cases), and the phone itself is pretty thin.

Maybe we should hold out and wait for the Xperia Go2.  Sony can make this a really nice phone with a couple of changes.  A better Hi-Res display should be on top of the list.  Give it more rams, add a front facing camera, and a dedicated camera button.  Go ahead and charge a little bit more.  We are willing to pay for a quality phone with a 3.5 - 4" screen.   Sadly, only the 4.5-5" phones are getting all the attentions.

PROS
- Nice compact size (4.37 x 2.37 x 0.39 in) fits in your pocket
- Light weight  (3.88 oz)
- Waterproof / Dust proof
- Dual 1ghz CPU
- 8GB internal ram, 32GB micro SD card capable

CONS:
- Not the best screen out there.  Low resolution, but decent
- No dedicated Camera Button
- Light Bleed defects on all phones
- No dedicated home button.  Gets pretty annoying to have to keep on pressing the power button to wake the phone.
- No front facing camera
- Only 512MB ram
- Only 3G capable (c'mon Sony, it's 2013, 4G should be standard on all devices).

Again, I would avoid this phone all together.  Sony has a horrible support and the screen defect is just a huge let down.

Update: Here are a few more post concerning the screen defects.

* when i slightly tilt my phone - i see there is a light bleed issue on top corner of the screen of my phone

* Display issue in xperia GO....sony answer pls!

Allergic Reaction to Kiss My Face all natural soap?

This is weird! For the 2nd time, I decided to give Kiss My Face 'pure and natural' soap a try and once again, my body does not like it.

Not sure if it's my body cleaning itself from the previous chemicals I have been using or an allergic reaction to the ingredients used in the Kiss my Face Soap.

The 1st time I tried Kiss My Face (Olive Oil and Green Tea) bar soap, I developed a horrible rash / inflammation around my waist. I was taking Keflex (anti-biotics) at the same time, and didn't know what caused the rash. So we got rid of both the soap and the medication.

Now, a year later, I decided to give Kiss My Face a 2nd chance. This time, we picked up Olive and Aloe. 3 days later, I have a rash on my high, arm and back and tiny red bumps all over my stomach and thigh.

I really wanted this soap to work. Love the way it made my skin feel really soft. But the allergic reaction is just horrible. And I don't remember having any allergies. I don't sneeze during the spring and not allergic to any medications. (Keflex) is still in question. But the first time I used Keflex, I did not get an allergic reaction. The 2nd time I used it, at the same time with tried Kiss my Face, I developed a horrible rash.

This just sucks because I bought a ton of Kiss My Face products. Including a facial toner, facial cleanser, and 2 tubes of facial cream. I am going to stop using all of the products and see if my red itchy bumps will go away.

Cliff-notes:
Products used
- Kiss My Face: Olive and Aloe bar soap
- Kiss My Face: Olive and Green Tea bar soap
- Kiss My Face: Antioxidant Toner (smells like Fruity Pebbles)
- Kiss My Face: Botanical Acne Gel
- Kiss My Face: Creamy Face Cleanser
- Kiss My Face: Exfoliating Face Wash

FedEx lost my package again

Thank you FedEx for losing my package 4 days before Christmas. Good thing this was only a gift to myself, because otherwise, there would have been hell to pay. This is the 3rd time FedEx has somehow delivered my package to another house. The first two times, FedEx managed to trace the packages and redeliver it to me. This was done the very next day. However, the 3rd time the package seems to be long gone. I even walked over to the house a block over (they have the same house number) to see if FedEx delivered it to them by mistake (again). No luck. I will give FedEx another day or two seeing that it is a day after Christmas. I have been calm and collected thought the entire ordeal. But if the package is indeed "lost", some one must be enjoying their brand new Wacom drawing tablet. Maybe I'll look for ads on Craigslist and eBay.

T-mobile 3G (1900 mhz) detected in Southern California!

While driving to grab my lunch, I noticed something strange. The E icon on my android tablet changed to H / H+? Woah! Looks like T-mobile has added 3G/HSPA+ coverage on the 1900Mhz to small areas in SoCal.

See speedtest results comparing the Edge (2G speed) and H / H+ (3G & 3.5G speed).

Hopefully T-mobile will be expanding this to more locations.

H+ (3G) on T-Mobile
- 3.41Mbps download and 1.34Mbps Upload

E (edge 2G) on T-Mobile
- .08Mbps Download / .04 Upload

This is on my Galaxy Tab 7.7 3G. (Not 1700 / 2100 mhz / AWS compatible). The speed difference between E and H+ is just night and day.

Ainol Aurora Nova 7 II Tablet Review

Ainol's Aurora II
Looking for a cheap tablet for Christmas?  Avoid anything from Ainol at all cost!  My experience with the company has been a nightmare. Basically no refund or exchange no matter what.  Unless the tablet has a "defect".  And the word "defect" only applies to the tablet not working.

The tablet itself is pretty solid for the price.  Decent build quality, Nice LG IPS screen pretty thin.  However, I do notice some light bleed on the right edge of the tablet.

But, the most important thing about the Android powered tablet is the market.  And sadly, the market is missing with this tablet.  So basically, what you have here is a useless tablet that can only browse the web and read emails.

You can get the Google Play Store onto the tablet, but that requires some type of hacking.  Something I have zero clue of doing.   On some tablets, the Google market is pre-installed, even then, you only get a "few apps" available for the tablet.

Light Bleed issue.  This is not defective according to Ainol.  Not sure about you, but I find this annoying.

Ainol Aurora II Screen Quality vs my Samsung Galaxy Tablet 7.7
(Left: Samsung, Right: Aurora II)

Conclussion:
Tablet: 2 out of 5 stars. (overall)

Screen Quality: 3 out of 5 stars.
- Light bleed issues.  Screen is also plastic.

Sound: 3 out of 5 stars
- One tiny opening for found. You will find your hands covering them at times.  Speaker also vibrates the entire back plastic panel.

Customer Service: 1 out of 5 stars.
- Once they get your money, good luck!

My suggestion: Avoid this at all cost.  It's  a waste of time and money.  Pretty much useless.  Just an overpriced paperweight. You will find yourself spending hours trying to get Google Market to work.

Proof iPhone users are just plain silly

Remember, these are the same idiots who agreed with Apple that Samsung copied Apple.  But we already know which company created the first candy bar styled phone. LG. Matter of fact, the iPhone 4 looks like a copy of the LG Prada, which was out 4 years earlier.

The iPhone 4S is soo good, it's better than the iPhone 4S. lol

The iphone 5 a huge disappointment

What a let down. After spending billions of dollars suing everyone and crying foul, Apples has announced the release of the newer, cooler and more innovotaive iPhone 5. Not! Looks like the same old shit to me.

Maybe instead of pointing fingers and trying to get rid of the competitions, Apple should have focused on redesiging the iPhone and adding something innovative such as S-beam by Samsung.

Intead, all Apple did here was make it a little smaller and renamed it iPhone 5. After the announcement of the iPhone 5 and the word "huge let down" being spoken by everyone at the convention, Steve Job acctually woke up from his grave, showed up at the convention and told everyone to get a Samsung Galaxy S3 instead.

Speaking of Apple Macintosh, (a name stolen from a Canadian Apple farmer) on being creative, innovative and original. Let's take a step back in time and look at the LG Prada. A phone released in 2006. 4 years before the release of the iPhone 4.  In a lame attempt to make claim for the design, Apple released a sketch code name "purple" as proof they own the design.  However, they forgot that in 2006, LG already had a full working model out in the market.  Not a stupid drawing they probably did 2 hours ago before the court date.

Notice how Apple designed their phones after the LG Prada.  Even the OS is based on the LG Prada.

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.engadget.com/media/2007/06/iphone-vs-prada-pt2.jpg

So copying the LG Prada, and using the same designs for 2+ years = innovative?  I think Apple is going straight down hill from here.  Which is good news.  No more are people going to pay $600 for the same thing.   What is it actually worth? About $199.   After all, it is made in China.

Nothing like a nice cold glass of Fresh Coconut Water

Fresh Young Coconut Water.

It's hot and humid here in Southern California.  And nothing hits the spot like a glass of fresh coconut water.

You can drink off straight from the coconut.  Just grab a a butcher's cleaver to cut a hexagram hole into the coconut.   Insert a straw and some ice and enjoy. Make sure the coconut water is clear. I had a few that gave me a pinkish purple coconut water! Not sure how it came to that color, but I wouldn't drink it

Kids also enjoy this.  Just add half a teaspoon of sugar to make it a little sweater.  Grab a spoon to peel some of the coconut meat off and you'll have a nice refreshing snack for them to enjoy.

You can buy a box of 9 young coconuts at your local Asian Grocery stores for about $7-9 dollars depending on the season.

The young coconuts will have a white fibrous outer shell that helps keep it fresh during shipment and storage.  Coconuts that you see at your typical grocery stores that has it's brown shell will have very little water.

Breaking! Apple stole the iPhone designs from Sony

In 2006, Apple industrial designer Shin Nishibori was directed to design an iPhone prototype "inspired" by the Sony.

Read the documents proving Apple stole the Sony design here.

Worst part is, Apple admits to it!  So why is Apple trying to sue everyone?

Apple designer Richard Howarth took note of the renders, and in a 2006 email told Ive that that he felt the design allowed for a "much smaller-looking product with a much nicer shape" for making calls when compared to another prototype, referred to as "P2." The extruded design of the P2 bears a striking resemblance to the iPod Mini, with a large screen replacing the scroll wheel (looking at the P2 prototype also strongly brings Nokia's Lumia line to mind). Pictured with the P2 is what is clearly an early prototype for what would become the iPhone 4 and 4S sandwich design. Howarth comments that Nishibori's Sony-inspired look is "only half a step away" from what is now Cupertino's current model.
