How to enable LTE on the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact

So you just got your Z1 Compact but discovered that your LTE network is not working or enabled?  Here are 5 easy steps to enable LTE on your Sony Xperia Z1 Compact Phone.  

(Step 1-2)  Go into settings and click on More.


(Step 3)  Click on Mobile networks.


(Step 4)  Click on Network Mode.


(Step 5) Now select on LTE (preferred).  


(Optional) LTE can drain your battery pretty quick.  A nice little option you can add in the drop-down menu (quick settings) is a LTE shortcut to enable/disable when needed.   To add the LTE button, click on edit and look for the LTE icon.
