The kids looked very happy to spend a day with Jon.
Katie left the van running and took off. What a freaking idiot. Looks like Jon is still banned from entering the compound. For two "grown-ups", they are sure acting like complete fools.
We all know they won't get back together, but at least act like civilized adults in front of your own children.

I think the reason why Jon doesn't "tweet" about his kids is because TLC and Kate won't let him.
The "protect the kids from the Paps" excuse doesn't fit in with Jon's personality. Jon thinks the paps are his friends.... Remember?

Also, Jon use to tweet about the wonderful times he spent with his kids.
I'm guessing TLC owns the kids and don't want any "info" released about them because TLC wouldn't make any $$$ off it. They're trying to keep the lid on everything and want everyone to watch Kate Plus 8.
To bad no one is interested in Kate Plus 8. Ratings will keep on tanking.

Exactly, the kids are full of joy, and they're not going on a lavish trips or seeing cute animals at the zoo.
All they're going to is Jon's apartment. LOL
Kate can learn from Jon. Sometimes, it's not about trips and vacations. Kids don't care about trips. All they care about is spending quality time with their parents and relaxing.
Maybe when they're older, they can enjoy the those lavish trips...
The kids are only getting attention from Jon at the moment--kate doesn't even look at them. She's looking over their heads at the camera or the adults around. The kids are starving for some attention just like kate seems to be- parading around the different parking lots so Chris can take her picture.....lots of time between shows so she needs the photos in magazines and her public won't forget her. I don't need to watch her show--saw all the pics from NYC and Alaska already!!! Can't stand listening to her...she is not someone I would want in my life......what a mess.
I don't think Jon can be blamed for ignoring Kate during this particular hand off. The bitch drove to the end of the driveway, stopped the van abruptly, jumped out and was already heading back up the driveway before Jon was even out of his suv. He couldn't have spoken to her without yelling and asking her to come back, and by the way she was marching up that driveway, he probably would have been ignored anyway. I was surprised she didn't make a scene saying goodbye to the kids to allow Chris to get a picture or two of her. Maybe her makeup wasn't done? Anyway, she is being a horrible, immature mother here. Jon doesn't deserve such hostility and even if he did, the right thing to do is to be civil anyway for the kids' sake. She is hurting her kids and making herself look like the asshole and bad mom that she is.

Agree with everything you said. Both parents need to grow up and start acting 'nicer' around one another when the kids are around.
How they're both acting now is just immature and stupid.
Kate Gosselin especially. Saying a bunch of negative things about Jon to her kids and to the media.
Even after all that brainwashing, the kids still prefer to spend their day with Jon than be with Kate.
