Remember Twist of Kate? Remember how it was suppose to air in the Fall of 2010? It was then pushed back when Jon agreed to renew the kids contract and Kate Plus 8 started filming.
Well, it's now February 1st, 2011. So where is this "Twist of Kate" the sheeple were talking about and waiting to see?
Remember Sheeple of the Month Kate Torgovnick and her 10 Reasons she'll watch Twist of Kate? Maybe the Twist is, the show is actually called Kate Plus 8?

Discovery Names New General Manager for TLC
Bolstered by Kate Gosselin and Sarah Palin, TLC has been one of the most talked-about cable channels in recent years, and one of the flagship channels for its parent company, Discovery Communications.
Now TLC has a new boss.
Amy Winter, who has been overseeing TLC’s marketing, is becoming the general manager of the channel, Discovery announced Tuesday. She will oversee all programming, production and marketing.
Ms. Winter effectively replaces Eileen O’Neill, who was promoted last month to be the group president for both TLC and the Discovery Channel.
Under Ms. O’Neill, TLC enjoyed a hot streak with Ms. Gosselin’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ and, more recently, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska.” The channel features stories about big and small families and targets women ages
25 to 54.
While Ms. Palin’s program has ended and Ms. Gosselin’s program has cooled off, TLC will soon start a new season of a reality show that attracted controversy last year, “Sister Wives.” The series about a man, his four wives and fifteen children will return in March.
Also on Tuesday, Ms. O’Neill announced that Edward Sabin, the chief operating officer of TLC, will assume the same position for the newly formed Discovery and TLC Networks group. Both Ms. Winter and Ms. Sabin will report to Ms. O’Neill.
Clark Bunting remains the general manager of the Discovery Channel.

Maybe under the new GM, TLC will focus on something other than Kate & The Gosselin 8?
We can only hope!
The best part of the article?
"Ms. Gosselin’s program has cooled off..."
Now she complain about feeling frigid!!! HAHAHA!!
@HI 50
Now she CAN complain about feeing frigid!!!
^ Haha, I didn't see that. Let me make it bold.
@HI 50 LMAO!! So now what's she gonna do? As soon as I heard E! was doing a True Hollywood Story, I said this was probably the final nail in her coffin because they only seem to do that kind of story when a reality show stars' career has burned out. I'm curious as to what exactly they're going to fill the hour with, since we've already seen her life played out for 5+ seasons on TLC. One day there will be a THS about the 8 kids rise to fame and 'where are they now'. I fear the outcome will be jail or rehab : (
I won't be watching but I'm guessing it's going to be more Jon bashing and how Kate is a wonderful super mommy who stayed strong while her hubby cheated on her and all the bs.
I hear the Skanktoro will also be in that show. So all credibility that show had went down the drain when they put Skanktoro in it.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hailey made a special appearance in that show as well.
Edit! Looks like Paul Petersen was a part in the E! Ture Hollywood Story. I still won't be watching, but will be reading the racaps somewhere.
Paul Petersen II
MEDIA ALERT! Tonight, Wednesday, "E: True Hollywood Story" will profile Kate Gosselin. I was one of the participants. Expect fireworks at the beginning and the end. 10pm, the E Channel. Share your reactions, please. Paul Petersen
How is it possible that everyone is this woman's universe is too intimitated to speak the truth? Thank you Paul Petersen, as well as Jodi and Kevin, for attempting to stop the abuse that is so very evident. Fame has twisted a willing narcissist, but her insane need for the spotlight must be stopped as it relates to her children. Ahhh...therein lies the problem: She would not exist if not for the 8 little paychecks, and so her game continues. Time will inevitably end her cruel reign, as they become less adorable and more aware. That's the only card that those poor children hold. Please, those of you who are able to be heard, continue to give these abused children a voice.
To get the noobies up-to-date. Here is what the E "special" forget to mention.
Excellent points from a blogger @ GWOP....

I was surprised by the show. They did not explain or expose anything. It left out all controversy, except the abuse of Leah, which they glossed over. Little Leah wasn't misbehaving, her mother was. Grabbing a child up by the front of the dress and hitting her, was a release of frustration, not an act of discipline. If Kate had done that to the producer of the show, she would be in jail. Why should she get away with it, merely because she gave birth to her victim? And why would a show, whose premise it is to expose the story behind the headlines, not do so? Why no interviews with the photogs who took the pictures, why no airing of the video?
But, other than that one story, the show did not even touch most Gosselin controversies. They did not address the selfishness of Kate, in denying Maddie water; didn't discuss the abusive displays on the show; "gumgate", "cupcakegate", laying sick children on the laundryroom floor, ignoring a constipated child to shop, ignoring them while "camping" with the Palin family, the list is endless, but they showed nothing! They did not expose the fact that Kate cut all family members out of the kids' lives. They didn't show how her mother had kept the twins for months before the tups were born, and was rewarded by being cut completely out of all their lives, and being slandered and insulted by Kate on TV! They didn't address the fact that Jon's father bought their first house, and supported them with an inheritance after he died. Nor did they address the defamation by slander and libel, against Jon's former boss, who they insisted "fired" Jon because of the insurance on their 6 babies. At a minimum, they should have given the former boss equal time to dispute this lie they told around the country! The show didn't talk about Kate expecting the public to continue to pay for her nurse, but spun the "controversy" into to a misquote by Kate!

The biggest most important missing element of last night's show, was the complete absence of the book "Multiple Blessings"! They showed "Eight little faces" and pretended that this was the book that made Kate famous. How silly. Kate's treatment of Beth is one of the most revealing aspects of Kate Gosselin! The fact that Kate did not write the book, yet she promoted it as if she did write it herself; and then Kate goes on to insult and smear the good name of the real author, through total dismissal, innuendo, side glances and deceptive "no comments". When asked about her former "best friend" Kate, as she does about all her discarded relatives and former family friends, goes on to make vague statements such as, "people are jealous and leave". Most of the time she doesn't flat out lie, but she deceives and slanders those people through her dismissive statements and actions. Kate does all of this to garner attention to herself--and no one else: that is Kate Gosselin! THAT is the true story!
E! had a real opportunity to expose the true pattern of Kate's life, which is to use people to get what she wants, then completely cut them out of her life. It has happened over and over in her life. Jon was merely the latest victim. And she is still striving to cut him completely out- frustrating for her that the law gives fathers rights to their children! Some day she will cut out the kids. She needs them now, but when they grow up and try to live their own lives, or if they misbehave she will (and has) present herself as a victim of their "cruelty". I can hear it now, "I gave my whole life for those kids, and they are so mean to me...I am all alone and friendless".
I am sad about this special, because perhaps they could have done some good in exposing the true self-centered Kate. Exposing her pattern would have made it more difficult for her to continue to use the same old tactics. Instead of telling the "true hollywood story" they gave a peek at some 'personal failings' and winked at child abuse. I had high hopes, but was sorely disappointed.
