For Kate Gosselin, getting ready for the March 22 debut of Dancing With the Stars entailed far more than perfecting her fancy footwork. In Touch can reveal that the former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 may have secretly undergone multiple plastic surgery procedures with a top Beverly Hills surgeon in order to look her best for her return to prime time.
“Kate thinks Dancing With the Stars will put her on Hollywood’s A-list,” says an insider. “She feels she needs to look her best, so she gave herself a major makeover.” According to the insider, Kate had a ton of work done, including Botox injections, Restylane fillers and laser resurfacing, which can cost about $12,000, says Dr. Brian Bonanni, medical director of Gotham Skincare.
In addition, Kate seems to now have veneers, hair extensions and highlights, eyelash extensions and eyebrow shaping, as well as regular spray tans and professional makeup applications. Kate, 35, felt she had neglected her appearance while tending to her eight children and going through a divorce with Jon over the past year. “She went from hating the way she looked to loving her new appearance,” says the insider.

You got all that right. We all know that kate didn't practice hours on hours. She was getting practice ya on her face/body and hair.
I don't think there's anything wrong with Kate getting work done on herself if that's what she wants.
I also don't necessarily think any of it is true.
However, IF it is true, my only issue would be how much it costs (if she pays for it) because she's always saying she needs to work to make money for her kids, etc but if she's spending THAT much on herself then maybe she should use that money to support her kids and she won't have to be away from them as much.
I don't know. I mean 35k? But then again, It' Kate Gosselin. She's filhty rich so who cares if she spends 35k on herself to try and look Hollywood.
I think it's a waste of money because you can't fix ugly. Makeup, botox, breast enlargements. All that only "Enhance" what you already have. And if you're not "attractive" to begin with, all that will only enhance the ugly that is Kate Gosselin.
Kate will NEVER feel a sense of accomplishment or fulfillment.
~ Twins were NOT enough. She reminds me of Cruella. Remember Cruella collecting dalmatian puppies? Seriously!! Her childhood dream was have multiples. Jon was happy with the twins BUT NOT Kate. She wanted another set of multiples, bragged about quadruples. She had a HIGH when there were septuplets! Jon didn't trust her so he gets a vasectomy, just in case Kate tries to trick him again.
~ Perfectionist tendencies disguised as organized wife & mom. HA!! Her excessive controlling was over the top. The Gosselin 8 were not allowed to be kids. They were simply props in Kate's grand schedule with matching clothes AT ALL TIMES. The performance is ON! Mommy Dearest, DICTATOR extraordinare! NO eating ice cream independently, NO playing with markers at the Crayola Factory, NO accidents kids, absolutely non whatsoever or the 'severest of punishment!!!' Crack the whip! Kids, be on your best behavior for the camera OR else!
~ UBER MOM. No matter how hard she tried, she doesn't have the loving maternal instinct. Kevin & Jodi were the ONLY LOVING family members present. They engaged with the kids, gave the kids choices, respected the kids individuality, AND let the KIDS BE KIDS! No matter how hard Kate tries, she will NOT be that woman.
~ There will NEVER be enough $$! Money earned from their reality show, books, appearances will NEVER, EVER be enough. In her quest for money, money, money, she will sacrifice EVERYTHING! Marriage, children, family, friends...nothing is sacred in her unquenchable quest for $$.
~ Body image improvements will NEVER be fulfilled. The tummy tuck was necessary but she wanted more. She receives a FREE tummy tuck then has the audacity to ask for a boob job. AND NOW the truth is revealed...botox, boob job, cheek/chin enhancements, skin resurfacing, tanning, mani/pedicures. No problem with self care BUT she is EXCESSIVE. Never enough!
She is a narcissist with a serious addiction to fame. If you look up 'chasing the dragon' you will see Kate fits the profile.
WHAT ABOUT THE KIDS!! While Mommy Dearest takes care of HER needs, the NANNIES take care of the kids needs. She won't give Jon extra time, just because she is punitive & vindictive. She's piled high in her BULLS**T! Kate is the modern day Joan Crawford. Its all about her, all the time! Unfulfilled.
I agree with you HI_50. Nothing is good enough. Wonder what "mods" she will do next. Maybe she will fulfill her dream of looking more Korean?
Ha, you're right JJ...forgot about her dream to be Korean. Hummm, I recall one of your pics you posted. Either she had a hangover OR she had cosmetic surgery to create that Asian eyes, SHE WISHED SHE HAD! She seriously needs an intervention for her addictions!
Wow, all that work done at 34 years old? She'll need a head transplant by the time she's pushing 40.
She can't keep up with her lies. 1st she was doing this for the kids. Then it was she didn't have time for plastic surgery, now it's "can't a mother look beautiful". LOL
This isn't about your kids, or your "family". It's about you pursuing your dreams of becoming an A-LIST celebrity.
Sorry Kate, but you just don't have it. Your PR crew can push you all they want. Sure they will make a quick buck from it, but it won't last.

Kart does not like limits to be enforced on her. She once gave an indication of this "no limits" mentality on the episode when Mady and Cara took swimming lessons. Mady didn't do as well as Cara, and from Kate's perspective, Mady "limits herself".
There's nothing wrong with dreaming big, but Kate has a problem handling the disconnect at what she wants and what she deserves. She's like a big, dumb overgrown kid who seems to think life is an endless Christmas. She always has a list for Santa Claus.
Jib talk about pictures. Use the Dvd covers and when you get to season 5. You will see KHATE is trying to be Asian. With 2 layer eyelashes, heavy eye liner, dark eye lid color and photoshop. She tries to give the biggest fake smile ever to squint her eyes. Nothing against the Asian population.
It must be a shame not having 1 child even look like you. Imagine having 8. That don't look like you. But look like their father.
