About Us...

Exposing the lies and seeking truth doesn't = Hate. This is not a Kate Hate Site. A 'Kate Hate Site" wouldn't have "Shame on Kate AND Shame on Jon" in the reaction box.

Just a place where bloggers and commenters can share an open discussion on all things related to the Gosselins.

This blog was created to expose the spins and lies shared by the media and by several individuals who continue to spread filth and garbage for their own self-interests.

This blog will expose those who continue to spread lies as "truth" and those who base their beliefs and support for one individual based on those lies.

Current CA Radiation Levels

Click "Read More" to view live feed from Bakersfield, CA. (Current Radiation level).

Since the media chooses to ignore the radiation levels, I have decided to add a section to my blog where I will provide daily updates.

I am also looking into a personal Geiger counter to perform daily readings of everyday items. (tap water, milk, fruits and vegetables and so on).  Please let me know if you can recommend a good reader.

I will also provide an update on the side panel on the right that will have daily updates of the Current Beta Gross Rate readings.   Level (1 - 60 cpm) is considered safe/normal. When should we be worried? When readings are more than DOUBLE the normal background radiation range.

According to Intel Hub, traces of radiation are NOW found in our food supply.  I am more concerned about this.  If anyone has any info please post them!

Purchase your Iodide tablets here. $4.85. Which is the best deal I've found.  Helps prevent the absorption of Radioactive Iodine to the thyroid. SOURCE NATURALS, Potassium Iodide - 60 tabs

Readings
I will continue to update the readings via the side panel. Sources for the readings are provided at the bottom of the page.

The media claims that the "Nuclear Fall Out Map" is FAKE. Yet, CA milk NOW have traces of Radiation.

Drink it up! It won't hurt you. Trust us.

"As I understand it, you would have to drink 5000 glasses of milk a day to be exposed at a level that would cause someone to have real concerns," says Rachel Kaldor from the Dairy Institute of California.
--------------------------

Right. Great explanation! They're only including the milk sample.

How about the air we breath. The water we drink. The food we eat? This ALL ADDS UP.

Safe? I find it more Strange that a certain family a few blocks from me HAS MOVED out of their home weeks ago. I guess they were warned. And they left all major furniture and appliance at the residence.

The home is currently for sale!

Officials warns CA residents NOT to take Iodine tablets.

WTF? What HARM does it do for taking salt tablets? Are there any dangerous side effects?

Rather safe than sorry. Nice try FDA, EPA, "Officials".

http://www.baycitizen.org/blogs/quality-of-life/dont-pop-potassium-iodide-say-health/

For Bay Area residents concerned about harmful effects of radioactive fallout blowing our way from Japan, caution is being urged by public health officials after reports that some Californians are stocking up on potassium iodide.

Potassium iodide, available as pills or liquid, is a stable, salt form of iodine, which is used by the thyroid to make hormones.

Potassium iodide (KI) has been used in the aftermath of nuclear disasters or radiation release because it is absorbed by the thyroid and blocks radioactive iodine—I 131—from being absorbed. If the thyroid is full of KI, it won’t take in the radioactive type. The CDC has a good explainer on potassium iodide’s role in protecting the thyroid.

For the imbecile using "bananas" to explain radiation...

Bananas are radioactive — But they aren't a good way to explain radiation exposure. When you eat a banana, your body's level of Potassium-40 doesn't increase. You just get rid of some excess Potassium-40. The net dose of a banana is zero. Geoff Meggitt (former UK Atomic Energy Authority.

Nearly all foods are naturally radioactive, and the radioactivity does not come from pollution or contamination. Bananas and brazil nuts contain relatively high level of potassium, of which 0.0117% is radioactive Potassium-40. The way the body controls its potassium level (see previous section) means this is not a health hazard. [8] Bananas are sufficiently radioactive to be detected by radiation sensors used to detect possible smuggling of nuclear material at U.S. ports

Hi there, why is it that these charts differ from the readings available on http://radiationnetwork.com/index.htm ?? Radiation badge.
please educate me on why there appears to be a difference between the real time readings on Radiationnetwork and these charts you have displayed... thanks!
