About Us...

Exposing the lies and seeking truth doesn't = Hate. This is not a Kate Hate Site. A 'Kate Hate Site" wouldn't have "Shame on Kate AND Shame on Jon" in the reaction box.

Just a place where bloggers and commenters can share an open discussion on all things related to the Gosselins.

This blog was created to expose the spins and lies shared by the media and by several individuals who continue to spread filth and garbage for their own self-interests.

This blog will expose those who continue to spread lies as "truth" and those who base their beliefs and support for one individual based on those lies.
Pursuing Truth, Exposing Lies and Informing the Sheeple

February 8, 2010

Well, Kate's new book is out.

About Love? Faith? Family? LOL!

What Love?

- Kate doesn't know what love is. She has never shown anyone any love or affection. Besides HERSELF.

What Faith?
- Wow! They went to church 3 times! And stopped going after the donations ended. She continued to do 'paid' "speaking engagement at churches".

What Family?
- She dumped them all under the bus. What family?
- Where are her own parents?
- Kevin, Jodi?
- Jon?

How dare she uses the words "Faith, Family and Love" to promote a scam.

The only book Kate is qualified to write is one called,

Me, Me and more Me...
The unbiased Truth

I suppose those who bow to Kate will fry anyone who tries to critique her book. Although the rest of the world is allowed to critique any book they read. Sheesh!

Too bad the article didn't give any credit to Beth for "Multiple Blessings". I'd be fuming if I was Beth.

MommyinCa said... [Reply]

Did you see the quotes from her about how she wants the kids to know that all the sacrifices SHE made was all worth it?
What the hell sacrifices is she talking about? The one where she leaves her kids for 20 hours to get $7000 extensions? The one where she robs the kids of their childhood so that SHE can live a more extravagant lifestyle? She has just dropped from maggot poo to bacteria that grow on the maggot poo. GEEZ!!

jibberjabbers said... [Reply]

I agree, Beth was the ghostwriter for Multiple Blessing. Not sure why Kate is getting credit.

I read somewhere where she stated: (they lived it, I wrote it)...

jibberjabbers said... [Reply]

So how was Kate able to do all she claimed AND co-author 4 books?

IATK said... [Reply]

"I want them to know without a shadow of a doubt how much I love them and how much every sacrifice made was worth it for them."

KATE! You are basing the worth of your children on how much you had to sacrifice. How utterly selfish of you. Children should not be measured by sacrifices, they should be a blessing and a joy, unconditionally. If you don't consider them as such, you should have never been a mother. PERIOD. NO EXCUSES.

IATK said... [Reply]

And as another poster pointed out, look at how awfully much your children have had to sacrifice in order for you and Jon to have the life you wanted: paparazzi invading their lives, a childhood worked around filming schedule, an invasion of privacy and personal moments, just to name a few.

For one reason only. Money.
It's what drives Kate. It is the ONLY thing that drives her IMO.

Yesterday I was having a particularly bad day, the Monday blahs, I guess. My youngest daughter was just well, being herself, and I said to her "you light up my life". She looked at me and said "I know".

That, Kate Gosselin, is what a parent does - they treat their children in such a way that those children know, without a doubt, that they are loved and cherished.

Kate Gosselin, you have no clue. You think being a parent is all about you.

So, when is "The Today Show" appearance? I mean, what would it be without Kate whining on "The Today Show" and Meredith sucking up to it.

Anonymous said... [Reply]

I'm beginning to lose hope of this parasite ever going away. Why can't she just slide back into the slime from where she came? I mean come on. Enough is enough.

Her children will never be normal because the were never allowed to have a childhood. Since the moment she discovered she was preggers with six, she and Jon started plotting the financial potential.

Now that her show has been taken away, she still won't allow the kids to have a private normal life. Again she has to drag them into her money making scheme by having someone else write a book and probably had the nanny write the letters, and taking credit for it.

Why, in this situation is evil winning over good?

SG said... [Reply]

Of course I'm just basing my opinion on her quotes in the book release articles but I personally think it's wrong for her to publish personal letters to her children. They are "personal".

I wonder if they were really personal. Did she write them for her children and then decide to publish them? Or did she write them specifically to publish them? I have to say that I don't think either option makes it any less wrong.

I wonder the same thing about her journal. Is she publishing a real journal that she wrote as a personal and private memoire, or did she write this journal knowing it would be published? If she wrote it knowing it would be published I can't imagine it would be an interesting read.

And prayers? Who writes and publishes prayers? Isn't that between her and God?

As for the sacrifices made that were worth it... from her quote it was hard to tell if she meant the sacrifices the children made were worth it or the sacrifices she made were worth it because of her children.

What sacrifices? Her marriage and her friends and family and her family's privacy? From what I can see that's all that was lost since the show started. And it was worth it? I really wonder what sacrifices she is talking about. What did she sacrifice other than what I mentioned?

As for the children, they lost their privacy and they have a broken family. Was that sacrifice worth free clothes and toys and free trips to the zoo and skiing and Disney World?

From the Back Cover
The 9.8 million viewers of TLC's Jon and Kate Plus Eight recognize Kate as the perky and practical mom of eight who has come into their homes for over 100 episodes of her family's hit reality show. Although the show has made her face recognizable, there's another part of Kate the viewers haven't seen---her heart. In I Just Want You to Know, Kate reveals a less familiar spiritual side. She is a grateful and faith-filled mother who only wants the best for her children and is willing to sacrifice to make that happen. The book covers the three years her family lived in their Elizabethtown home, a period Kate considers one of the happiest of her life. It shows the parents of eight kids (all under the age of six) transitioning from the chaos of caring for infants to the structured days of a home filled with budding preschoolers. During that time, the family underwent major changes: * From diaper changing to potty-training the sextuplets * From only traveling a few miles for a rare meal out to flying to Hawaii to renew their wedding vows * From Kate's need for control, to learning how to be flexible * From watching a child who couldn't spell, singing B-I-B-I-B (the Bible song), to their first child growing in her faith and praying to ask Jesus into her heart * From Kate's first speaking engagement (she was afraid to fly) to her book tour * From a desire for a 'normal' family life that didn't include outside help, to a desire for a 'normal' day without public attention.

Dear Critics,
I wrote this book to explain to everyone how important my family is to me. They didn't know how to help me so they left. They just gave up on me. My kids need to know that they better not give up on me because I SACRIFICED for them. I gave them everything I never had: fame, fortune, notoriety. No one would have ever known how much I love to put my kids on tv if it hadn't have been for ME! Jon left because he couldn't handle the fame and sacrifice. He just wanted a normal family. Well we are NOT a normal family. I walk on water, damnit! I DESERVE money and fame because I am Kate friggin Gosselin!!! Look at me! Look at me! I have 8-ish kids! I am single and love to dress like a slut...but I'm a Christian when it will sell book!
Love, your Goddess Kate!
ps. Worship ME!

I just read this from one of the GWOP posters. Evidentally she emailed Zondervan about the book:

Zonderman's reply to my email, asking how could they publish this lie:

"In 2008, Zondervan signed a multi-book contract with Kate Gosselin, and her new book I Just Want You to Know is part of that agreement. We realize the recent events in Kate’s life have been very public, and many sources-particularly the tabloids-have exploited her popularity with misinformation. Some people may not agree with our decision to publish this book, but we support Kate as she moves forward into a new chapter of her life. It is clear that her faith has been an integral part of her life and the lives of her children during the past year, and we are honored to give her the opportunity to share her heart.

Thank you

Love, Faith, and Family.. That's why there a picture of Kate all by herself.

This book isn't about any of the above. It's about Kate. It always was and always will be about Kate.

Why is "Kate Gosselin" printed where the "title" of the book should be?

Does Kate look like a "mother" in this pic?

Letters to her kids for the whole world to read? Nice one Kate.

The publishers will get a huge wake up call when no one buys this book. Sure its getting "publicity" good or bad, BUT this is just a novelty item.

Good to laugh at, but no one is going to spend a dime on it. Maybe a few sheeple but it won't even cover the cost of publishing.

-------

And the letter from the publisher, they're almost as blind as the sheeple. At least they're pretending to be. They know Kate is "controversial", so they are trying to rank in the "cash". Or at the most get their "name" out.

Tabloids released misinformation about Kate?

So the tabloids were wrong? Kate isn't a responsible mother? She doesn't love her kids? She's the one who cheated on Jon?

LOL. The tabloids gave Kate nothing but compliments.

And I agree with the misinformation. Whatever the tabloids says about Kate, it's the exact opposite.

Thank you Zondervan for clearing that up.

If you really want to know what Kate supporters look like, go to youtube and look at the speaking engagement interviews with the crowd.

But really, why are you more worried about what people look like? I mean that's all you talk about. What GWOPPERS look like..

Nothing about how the kids feel when Kate abuses them.

I guess if you're team Kate, then looks are more important than anything else.

The sad part is, Kate is one ugly shrew. If you're going to support a woman just because of her looks, why not support Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie, etc etc...

Kate is not pretty. Don't make me post that pic again of Kate in her bikini leaning against the SUV. OMFG.. haha

...When I tell my children I love you they tell me I love you too mom. They would never disrespect me by saying I know.
---------------------

The fact that, when you tell your children you love them, they say they love you too doesn't prove they care about your feelings. For all we know, they are afraid to not respond in kind.

Dunwoody Mom related that she told her daughter she was the bright spot in an otherwise dark day and the child replied, "I know."

The exchange doesn't reveal that her daughter is disrespectful. It reveals that the child did not need reassurance; she already knew that she wasn't to blame for what went wrong that day. It reveals that Dunwoody Mom is a responsible mother and that, during bad times, she tries to keep her focus on what's important.

Dunwoody Mom's perspective of the situation is correct and Kate Fools' is not.

Letters to her kids, regarding family, love and faith...

- What family? Kate is all alone
- Love? A woman that chose Kate +8 rather then attend counseling and work on her marriage.
- Faith? Kate hasn't been to church other than to make appearances in paid speaking engagements.
