About Us...

Exposing the lies and seeking truth doesn't = Hate. This is not a Kate Hate Site. A 'Kate Hate Site" wouldn't have "Shame on Kate AND Shame on Jon" in the reaction box.

Just a place where bloggers and commenters can share an open discussion on all things related to the Gosselins.

This blog was created to expose the spins and lies shared by the media and by several individuals who continue to spread filth and garbage for their own self-interests.

This blog will expose those who continue to spread lies as "truth" and those who base their beliefs and support for one individual based on those lies.
Pursuing Truth, Exposing Lies and Informing the Sheeple

This is why Kate is still on TLC, not because of blogs, but because of people watching.

Monday bump! Don't tune in!

"I swore I wouldn't watch, but I turned it on for just a few minutes--enough to see all the kids sprawled out on the boat, lying down, vomiting in buckets, having their puke thrown in the water, and saying "Mommy, I don't want to be in this boat, I want to get off," to which she replied, Nope, too late."

"I watched the fishing segment only because I was curious about the company that provided this trip, and because of the life jacket issue."

"I clicked on for just a second in the midst of watching my Cincinnati Reds beat the the Arizona Diamondbacks, just to see if the kids were wearing life jackets. They weren't."

"I haven't watched this mess since the divorce announcement, but I did this time, I had to see who it was sailing this ship of fools."

It's people who say they won't watch and want the show to end. Yet they still tune in. Even though some may claim that their 1 viewership won't affect ratings, just remember that there are probably thousands thinking the same thing.

If people really want the free the kids, they should just stop watching. Kate can have her OWN TV SHOW. I have no problems with that. But I won't be tuning in to any of the Kate "Plus 8" episodes.
1 minutes or 20 minutes, why bother?

From reading all the comments, they say they're disgusted and feel sorry for the kids. We already know that this was going to happen without even watching the show. People were already blogging about the previews.

Hopefully the ratings for this week will also drop to another low. But I'm guessing TLC is going to have a little ratings bump for this week.

Again, if you like the show, then by all means, watch it. But if you really want the show to end, try not to tune-in.

I get so mad when I read comments like that.
Just don't fucking watch.

There is so much better TV on anyways. If TV doesn't work there is blockbuster, Netflix, Red Box and On Demand. Hey watch a movie, read a book or do something, anything but don't watch Kate's show.

I haven't watched in over 2 years.

^ I stopped after the divorce thing broke out. Better late than never I guess.

People-stop watching!! It really isn't that hard, not like we have only a couple channels these days! Ticks me off, when I hear excuses about why these people were watching, just stop watching, stop the dumb excuses!!

jibberjabbers said... [Reply]

Ok, I'll rephrase this. If you want to watch, go ahead and watch, but some of the excuses I've read are just hilarious.

If you love the show, then by all means, you are free to watch and enjoy the show.

But the "accidentally switching to the channels or only checking in for a few minutes, etc etc." There is no need to have an excuse to watch.

You either wanted to watch or you don't.

Oh, great, thanks for keeping her on the air, peeps!

No kidding! The finale of The Closer was on tonight! Why would anyone prefer KG over Kyra Sedgwick?

I had never even heard of Jon & Kate until January 09. I was finished with them by February 09 and running to my computer to see if there were other people who were as concerned for the children as I was. That woman is crazy dangerous, IMO.

The less time she spends around those kids the better off they will be. She gives me the creeps.

Just watch it on YT, it will be up within a few days. Heck TLC has a clip of the kids getting sea sick up there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RX_qHcaqfA4 That's horrible enough, the poor kids. Those waves were huge, why the heck did Kate take them out on that?

But yes seriously watch Primetime on Monday nights or better Monday Night football. That's what I watched with my boyfriend tonight.
Just don't watch Kate Plus 8.

I guess it was pretty bad last night. This is from one of the comments.

"Aaden woke up in his own vomit, literally, with puke all up and down his back, and STILL, all Kate could do was complain to the cameras while someone else took his hand and went to clean him up."

Amen. I am always amused and dismayed when I read the, "Oh, I was switching channels - and I accidentally..." blah blah blah.

Own it. If you watched it, you should own it. Period. Quit making excuses.

I watched Monday Night Football, as my beloved Chiefs were on. :)

I posted something similar to this on GWOP a couple weeks back and for some reason they wouldnt post my comment. I am really getting sick of people watching and their lame excuses. Everyone is sick of her and wants her to go away but yet they keep tuning in over and over again. Even my own mother hates her but it is always on her tv. She says she cant help but watch and one person watching isnt going to matter with the ratings . Bottom line...the show will never go away if people keep accidentally keep changing their channel to TLC when its on.

I can't believe that so many on GWOP admit to having watched this show. And you can't tell them not to watch, I agree if they enjoy watching the show then they should just say they watched because they liked it.

Heck, I didn't even know it was on last night LOL. I opted to watch my saved DVR'd shows instead. Reading the comments, were the kids seasick? And if so, WHY did TLC continue to film this abuse? But if Kate were the sick one, she would make all kinds of demands, right? Or whine and cry about how sick she is and can't participate. What trip was it they went on where Kate was sick and Jon took the kids? Ski trip? I can't remember but I do recall Kate being sick for a few days and everyone else had to take care of her kids while she laid in bed, got a massage, etc.

I totally agree and those excuses are lame. Even if you completely loathe Kate and her abusive ways, you are supporting her when you watch. You are supporting the kids working and their loss of privacy. I wonder what the percentage is of the people who watch -fans or haters. It sounds like a disgusting episode. I know Kate makes my want to vomit too.

Remember that TLC/Discovery is a corporation. They wouldn't air anything "illegal". So there is nothing anyone can do about it. Robbing your kid's childhood, filming disgusting scenes, embarrassing your kids on TV isn't illegal. If it was, it wouldn't have aired. Yes it in bad taste for Kate and TLC to allow it to air, but still isn't illegal. Maybe this was Kate and TLC rubbing it in.

Which explains why the many poor "attempts" at trying to end the show legally failed. Even attempts at trying to get the law into this failed. As stated before, they "found" nothing wrong with what was filmed and how it was filmed.

The only one that can stop this is Kate or the viewers. Kate won't end this, and people keep watching. So TLC will keep filming.

Heck, maybe TLC / Kate are taking jabs are at everyone and filming those 'scenes' on purpose. "See, we can do and film whatever we want, and you "haters" are going to watch and talk about it on your blogs".

If they did in fact break a safety law in North Carolina, I wonder what the penalties will be?

My guess is, a "warning" and not even a slap on the wrists.

Interesting that just a few months ago, the media bash Jon over the kids sitting on top of the ATV.

Yet, nothing over this and a previous old episode where Kate took the kids on the ATV and drove around like an idiot.

I turned it on for a second only to see Kate pissing and moaning about not wanting to surf, then went on to something else. When I came back thru to that channel, I saw the kids hurling everywhere, laying in pools of it. It was Everywhere. The kids looked miserable, all of them were collapsed on benches, but they kept filming this humiliating situation. I honestly had to turn it off. This is the first time I've watched since the new Kate minus Jon came on. I saw just what I've been missing, same ole same ole....nothing.

Judging from the comments, this episode was REALLY bad...humilating for the children who were sick/vomiting/covered in vomit. I remember when I was 7, got sick in school in front of the whole class, vomited all over my desk. Everyone did the whole dramatic "EEEEEEEWWWWW GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!". I went home sick. Came back the following day and was teased horribly. The kids held their noses whenever I'd walk by, they'd pretend to spray their desks with cootie spray, they called me "pukey girl". It lasted the rest of the school year. It was the worst school year ever for me. That said, I can't even imagine what kind of treatment the Gosselin 8 are dealing with at school over the footage of them being sick, using the potty, etc for the whole world to see. Just reading the description of this particular episode brought back all those memories from when I was 7. I'm heartbroken for those kids. Shame on TLC and the advertisers for not protecting them, since we already know we can't count on Kate to protect them from humilation.

Thank you for posting this!! I like GWoP, but we aren't allowed to state our opinions about people watching on their site. I agree 100%. I wrote in once, maybe being a bit harsh, saying that it is was a hypocritical of people to say "I won't watch", and then the next day, those same people were all saying "I tuned in to see this..."

What gets me is the ones who say "I want to see if the kids are being abused". There is nothing you can do. Thank you for saying what needs to be said JJ.

I have to agree here. The excuses people make to cover up for watching the show are just that...excuses.If you watch, just admit it.Lying about it brings you to kates level.
If you just HAVE to watch....why not watch it on a re-run? Cant you watch it on youtube? I dont watch the show and wont.I have seen all I care to see of kate being a mega-bitch to everyone around her and her treating the kids like shit.I dont feel like I'm missing out on anything. There are plenty of places you can go to get the jest of what happens on the show.
When you watch (for whatever reason) you are adding to the ratings. No ratings will get the show off the air.The kids deserve privacy! We cant to much to help other than NOT WATCHING!

Please try not to mention other blogs. I read the blog all the time and it's a great blog with lots of commentators. That blog is a contains a great resource of information.

Also, it's not just that one blog that have people who say one thing, and then "accidentally" decides to watch it anyways.

TeamJon said... [Reply]

If you guys are still wanting to see it, h8kate uploaded the episode. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMEytXH9fTM
Warning it is as nasty and cruel to the kids as everyone has said, the poor things. I mean they are literally covered in puddles of vomit.
Why the crew didn't just turn off the cameras.
I mean they were getting ill too. Whoever wants to see that?
The worse part is before they got sick they are crying and pleading including, Cara to get off the boat but Kate won't turn the boat around cause she wants to fish. She is so selfish, I feel so bad for them.

Anonymous said... [Reply]

Yes, just wait for the recap by 15 minutes or wait for it to hit on youtube. That way you won't feed into the ratings.

Thank GOD! Finally somebody telling it how it is.Way to go my friend.Lucky me I could never contribute to the ratings..No TLC here in Romania. You should add to that list "I didn't have a choice my spouse/daughter/son/friend was watching and I was in the room". The most disturbing comment ever:"I can't wait untill they're 18 it'll be so interesting"...some people really see this show running for another 12 years.Scary!

This isn't Kate lovers alone who contributed to these ratings. It is also people from this site as well as all the other sites that are not for kids being on tv that continuously tune it. Thanks to all of those who tuned into to keep her show going. You gave TLC exactly what they want and Kate. Love her or hate she can still get over a million people to tune into her show.

jibberjabbers said... [Reply]

Yeah, but it's not because of Kate. There are "anti-Kate" fans who do tune in to "check up" on the kids.

They should really just stop watching.
