Joy Behar slammed Kate Gosselin on a recent episode of “The View,” citing the failure of the mother of eight to take responsibility for the problematic aftermath her children are experiencing after her high-profile divorce from their father. After host Barbara Walters tells the other co-hosts that Gosselin has denied her two children were expelled from school because of anger issues, but rather because of her high-profile divorce, Behar stated the blame was misplaced.
“It’s interesting that [Gosselin] blames the husband, she’ll blame the show, blame everything but herself,” Behar said. “I mean, she has a part in this too, right?”
“I’m not indicting the woman, but she has a part in raising her children too.”
Behar then adds that Gosselin should re-examine her faults in causing the divorce, and then gave her own experience with divorce as an example.
“When you get a divorce, that’s a two way street… when I got a divorce I was writing down all the things I did wrong and that’s what got me through [it],” she said.
