Decided to give this a try. I'll update this post in about a month of use.
Vegan Hemp Lip Balm
* Certified Organic hemp-seed oil
* Certified Organic calendula extract
* Certifed organic essential oils
* Contains plant based wax (candelilla wax)
* Non GMO Vitamin E & Rosmary Extract
The description alone sounds great. BUT, upon receiving my products, I noticed that none of these were individually sealed for our protection. It also does not offer SPF-15 so not sure if that's good or bad.
The 'Natural' version is basically orderless and tasteless. I will be using this one more often. The 'Orange' reminds me of the orange creamsicles, so this one would be great for kids.
Does contains small traces of THC. You will not get HIGH off of this product. THC does contains healing properties. So this is good.
Retails for $2.99 at the manufacturer's site, but I got these for $1.92 each from an online retailer. About the same price as the 'chapstick' lip balm, but w/o all the chemicals.
I'll up date this post after a few weeks of use.
Update: 5/8/2011
Wow! Noticeable improvements just after 3 days of use. Lips are considerably softer and the product asorbs a lot better then the other products I've used (Chapstick, Natural Ice, etc.).
I prefer the Natural version instead the Orange one. Scent free and no sweet taste. Since it's a lip 'balm' this product it softer than the above sticks. Which feels more like waxy paste.
Give this lip balm a try. It's natural and it works.
