Exposing the lies and seeking truth doesn't = Hate. This is not a Kate Hate Site. A 'Kate Hate Site" wouldn't have "Shame on Kate AND Shame on Jon" in the reaction box.

Just a place where bloggers and commenters can share an open discussion on all things related to the Gosselins.

This blog was created to expose the spins and lies shared by the media and by several individuals who continue to spread filth and garbage for their own self-interests.

This blog will expose those who continue to spread lies as "truth" and those who base their beliefs and support for one individual based on those lies.

Jon Gosselin refuses to renew his kids contract with TLC?

Update 9/26: TLC has no future TV listings of Kate Plus 8 and no reruns! Krazy Kate fans must be pissed! What well they watch and fantasize about now? Oh wait, they'll just stalk the kids and take pictures of them.

From Kate's twitter account. Maybe this is why Kate isn't "venting", she knew it was coming.  Since TLC has denied the rumors of the show being canceled, and since Kate isn't on The View bitching about it, I have a strong suspicion that Kate Plus 8 will continue as a "series of specials".  (Winter, Spring, or Summer break?)

One of the concerns of the original series was the amount of time it took to film the show. So, by doing these "Series of Specials" maybe TLC believes it would keep a few people off of TLC's back.

Kate Plus 8 finally canceled? TLC did admit that Kate Plus 8 was only a "summer special" And that only a "limited" number of episodes would be filmed. So the rumors of the "quiet" cancellation could be true. So where is Twist of Kate? Hopefully Kate can have her own show and just leave her kids alone.

InTouch Weekly scan credit: Preesi

Maybe Kate Plus 8 will come back next summer as another "series of specials". Since the kids are now back in school full-time, there isn't that much time for the kids to go on trips.

BUT, according to GossipCop......

‘Kate Plus 8′ Has Not Been Canceled

Source: Gossipcop

“Kate Gosselin still has her eight children, but her TV show is history,” declares In Touch. Wait, what?

Well, according to the tabloid’s alleged “source,” TLC has “quietly canceled” her reality series “Kate Plus 8″ after ex-husband Jon Gosselin supposedly refused to re-sign a contract allowing their children to be filmed.

In Touch seems to be confused, so we’ll help. Something not happening isn’t the same thing as it “quietly” happening. Because “Kate Plus 8″ is NOT canceled.

“It’s not true,” Gosselin’s TLC spokesperson tells Gossip Cop. Just another case of In Touch being out of touch.

Celebrity blogging’s clown prince, Perez Hilton, has once again taken a rumor that Gossip Cop already busted and trumped it up as real news.

Hilton just announced that TLC “quietly cancelled” the Kate Gosselin reality series “Kate Plus 8″ because ex-husband Jon Gosselin supposedly wouldn’t sign off on more camera time for their children.

He stole the story and his quotes from this week’s In Touch (without bothering, of course, to say where this “news” began).

But the In Touch item was completely wrong, as Gossip Cop learned yesterday.

Talk of cancelation is “not true,” a TLC rep told Gossip Cop exclusively.

So, for the 10,000th time, Hilton has “reported” belatedly and wrongly.

We congratulate him on the milestone!

BUT, if this is true... Baby Momma just pooped in her unnerwears.

Remember that TLC stated that Kate Plus 8 would only be a "series of specials" aired in the summer.

Twist of Kate will air sometime in the fall according to the original statement by TLC.

Now that was funny!!!!

The "Kate Plus 8" specials are not to be confused with Kate's new TLC series, called "Twist of Kate" in which she will give "life assistance" to "real families in the middle of their own extraordinary challenges."

Well if it is true we will see Kate on the Today show tomorrow whining about it

I'm so disappointed to learn this wasn't true. I really wanted Kate to have to come up with another plan for supporting herself.

I wonder if Twist of Kate has been put on hold or pushed back to a later date, because I'm not hearing or seeing any sort of advertising for it.

It's funny how Jon has all the power in this situation.

So if it's true he is NOT re-signing, what is he going to do for income?

Anonymous said... [Reply]

@Lauren

If Jon doesn't renew his and his kids contract with TLC, Jon can work for any network he wants.

BUT, it think his 15 minutes has pass. Kate and TLC took away his earning potential during the PEAK of the drama.

Well as Jon said on that interview he has wanted to get his kids off the air so he can get them back to normalcy. It may be possible that he hasn't signed because of that.
You can tell he is done with publicity, he has no desire to be in the public eye unlike Kate.

Here is another link proving that TLC already stated that Kate Plus 8 was only a Summer Special with "limited" number of episodes.

Source: USAtoday

TLC says she'll star in "limited" Kate Plus 8 specials premiering June 6 at 9 p.m. The first one will focus on the sextuplet's sixth birthday, which was yesterday. Usmagazine.com reported that Kate threw the kids a pool party.

Kate Plus 8 will actually be a series of specials aired on TLC over the course of the summer, and will have the same theme of the now-canceled Jon & Kate Plus 8, but with one big difference --no Jon!

JJ, Can you zoom in on Kate's left hand? It looks like she's giving the paps the middle finger LOL

No mentions of Twist of Kate.

It does kinda look like it. Like she was in the middle of flipping the bird while the pap was taking the pic.

Doesn't look like Kate Plus 8 would be airing the next two Mondays! Hopefully the kids won't show up on her new show. If she gets one.

Hello Jibberjabbers. Been trolling for awhile and adore your Sheeple mags. I'm in complete agreement with you that the show is not officially or permanently cancelled, as this season was never promoted as anything but summer specials. I also seriously doubt that TLC or Kate would give up so easily, quickly or absolutely by ever labeling the show as cancelled. Even if Kate's high pay, low ratings, PA labor/permit issues, school year scheduling or Jon's refusal to consent all contributed to the show going on hiatus, there will be interest for years to come to see the kids grow up. This show could conceivably, and most likely will, reappear for seasons of specials until the kids reach 18, or beyond, if they choose to go on.
On a side note, there has been some chatter/speculation that Jon has the power to end the show by refusing to give his consent. Out of curiosity, does anyone know if there is legal basis for this? I am sure that he could make things difficult, and could even attempt to sue Kate and TLC. Is his signature actually required in a contract or on the work permit forms?

@Lee

Thanks!

And yes, since the kid are back in school 'full-time", maybe another series of "specials" would appear next summer.

I think TLC is waiting to see what kind of ratings their new tv line up shows will pull in before yanking the plug on Kate+8. TLC has done everything in their power to shove Kate down everyones' throat and NOBODY accepted it...we all choked on it and spit it out...rejected it. No matter how much they try to reinvent Kate, remake her, etc, nobody will ever forget what she's really like, the viewers aren't that dumb, we all watched the train wreck. They've had her on The View, DWTS, Access Hollywood, People Magazine, the Today Show, book tours, etc and they can't get ANYONE to come out and say 'yes, Kate is great!' except the sheeple/Klovers, who I still think are employees of TLC who are posting and getting Khaters riled up LOL

What is that thing sticking out of her bosom - something white. Has she taken to carrying her money and her kleenex in her wonder bra?

Well, Kate Plus 8 is finally off the air.

Kate Plus 8 Off TLC's TV Schedule
PHILADELPHIA - Kate Gosselin's reality TV show "Kate Plus 8" has been dropped from TLC's official online schedule of upcoming broadcasts.
The official TLC.com web site lists upcoming shows into mid-October , and it now doesn't list any original or repeat showings of "Kate Plus 8."
The show is also dropped from a menu that shows all available shows on TLC's cable channel. The network originally said "Kate Plus 8" would be a series of specials, but most shows get some exposure as reruns.
Last week, Internet columnist Perez Hilton said the show had been canceled, a claim that was quickly denied by TLC's publicity department.
Filming permits for "Kate Plus 8" obtained by MyFoxPhilly showed the work permits for the Gosselin sextuplets will expire this fall in Pennsylvania.
Local state Rep. Tom Murt introduced legislation on Thursday, spurred on by the Gosselin's work permits, to tighten child-labor laws in Pennsylvania for children who work on TV.
The state Labor Department says the Gosselin's work permits are in accordance with current laws, a fact that Murt has disputed publicly.
The ratings for "Kate Plus 8" have not been strong after its debut episode. TLC has kept filming but the last original episode had the same ratings as "Jon & Kate Plus 8" drew right before that show was ended by TLC in November 2009.
Kate Gosselin's reputation as an author has bombed as badly as her last book, "I Just Want You To Know," which only sold 10,000 copies in its first two weeks of release in April.
There has been little news about a second Kate Gosselin series for TLC, called "Twist Of Kate," that was announced in May.

More useless information just to piss the sheeple off.

A show with Jon in it, lasted 2+ years.

Kate Plus 8, only lasted 3-4 Months. (yes I know it was only a summer special, but still).

Anonymous said... [Reply]

I think this is also TLC's CHOICE to put the show in hiatus. If it was Jon's fault, Kate would once again be on TV crying about it.

"Jon won't let the kids have fun anymore, the kids miss the camera crew, etc etc".

Anonymous said... [Reply]

@Lee

Contract states both parents must sign and consent on renewal of the kids contracts with TLC...it's true. So don't think it will happen, Jon does hold the power to stop it all once and for all.

Anonymous said... [Reply]

I hope tlc is smart enough to keep Kate Gosselin off any shows. It will surely turn more viewers away from TLC all together. Come on TLC, you have some good shows but many like me will not turn your channel on if Kate Gosselin is on anything TLC or any other show for that fact. Her terror towards her family is all on film for goodness sake. Make her over, do what you want-the outside don't change the inside. If she did change it would not matter at this point. MILF and Cougar is what she acts like and she is not attractive in any shape or form inside or out. That is all she is trying to be now, forget the kids, so done with them too! They act like brats and who wants to see that? NO ONE! IMOO

Several bloggers are saying that "Twist of Kate" will not air. I have to disagree, TLC knows that Kate will somewhat create "ratings", and TLC will cash in on the name "Gosselin".

The show may not last for more than 3-5 episodes, because Kate has no talent and cannot carry on a show w/o her kids.

But, IMO, the show will air. The 'latest' info is a December release. TLC has recorded a few clips and I'm sure the don't want any of those footage to go to waste. I would also expect a "surprise" visit from the 8 kids to appear on TOK.
